Part of the requirements for carrying the FGW seal of conformity is participation in future FGW round robin tests. These tests serve as quality assurance for the application of the FGW guidelines and to determine grey areas and uncertainties. For this purpose, the test procedure or parts thereof is applied by all participating test laboratories to identical sample data sets or test specimens. The submitted results are anonymised, compared with each other and checked against the success criteria defined in advance. If the success criteria are met, participation in the EQA scheme is deemed to have been passed.
