TR 3 – Determination of the Electrical Characteristics of Power Generating Units and Systems, Storage Systems as well as for their Components in Medium, High and Extra-High Voltage Grids
As a test specification, TG 3 describes measurement procedures for determining the electrical characteristics of generation units and systems. The regulation includes, among other things, tests for active power output, reactive power supply, flicker, harmonics, decoupling protection and FRT behaviour. The result of a measurement according to TG 3 is a test report that serves as proof of the electrical properties of a PGU or PGS, for example within the framework of the TG 8 certification programme.
